Ameet Satam, along with other BJP MLA’s and Members of the Parliament met with the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India to discuss the Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative bank (PMC) issues. The meeting was to demand for a speedy solution in regards to the matter. The Reserve Bank of India is in the process of evaluating the value of assets that was seized and also to acquire the loss attained. The RBI also informed that they would be in a position to decide a scheme to grant justice for the depositors. The Reserve Bank of India guaranteed that the arrangements would be granted in a time frame of a few months, which would mostly be by the end of January or February. The meeting made a constructive progress in resolving the issue and bringing forth a solution.
